Friday, October 29 Eagles 3 vs. Memphis RiverKings 1
The Colorado Eagles battled the Memphis RiverKings to a 3-1 victory as the goaltenders put on a clinic tonight in front of the 35th consecutive sellout crowd (5,289) at the Budweiser Events Center. The Eagles unveiled their 2003-04 Northwest Division Championship banner amidst the smoke and fog of the pre-game show, and brought the same fireworks on the ice to go to 3-0 on the season. Tyler Weiman earned the start tonight for his shutout performance against the Topeka Tarantulas and did not disappoint in his second appearance as he made astonishing save after save and kept the Eagles undefeated streak alive.

Saturday, October 30 Eagles 2 vs. Corpus Christi Rayz 6
The Colorado Eagles suffered their first loss at the hands of Corpus Christi Rayz 6-2 in front of another sold out house (5,289) at the Budweiser Events Center. Josh Blackburn stopped all but one of the Eagles 53 shots, and the Rayz scored five unanswered goals to cap the game. Ryan Carter netted two goals for Corpus Christi and five different players scored for the Rayz who set a season-high six goals.

Friday, October 29 Eagles vs. New Mexico Scorpions 7:05 p.m. MST 99.9 The Point-KKPL
Colorado and New Mexico play the first of 11 games this season. The Eagles were 7-1-2 against New Mexico last season, and hope to get back on the winning track against the Scorpions on Friday night. Greg Pankewicz and Riley Nelson led all scorers in the series with 21 points each. Three games went into overtime or shootouts last season with New Mexico winning both shootouts, while Colorado won in the extra five minute frame on December 3. As of now the teams are tied with 6 points each although New Mexico is on the road for two games before coming to Colorado on Friday. The game on Friday night will be the first televised game on Altitude Sports. Fans in both New Mexico and Colorado will be able to watch the game on Dish Network.

Not So Special- The Eagles have yet to score a power play goal this season (0-15). Colorado and the Lubbock Cotton Kings (0-13) are the only two teams in the CHL that have not scored a power play goal.

Stellar Start- Rookie goaltender Tyler Weiman is off to a 2-0 start for the Eagles. The fifth-round draft choice by the Colorado Avalanche has only allowed one goal, and his .981 save percentage and 0.50 goals-against average are both first in the CHL.

First Goals- The Eagles have been in come-from-behind situations in all but one of their games thus far. Their 3-0 shutout of Topeka is the only game Colorado has scored first.

Shots- The Eagles are leading the league with 39.75 shots per game and are also leading the CHL allowing only 27 shots per game.
