Eagles Return To Action Tonight Against Rival Wildcats
March 2, 2024 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
Cape Breton Eagles News Release
After a rare two day stretch of off-days on the road, the Eagles are back on the ice tonight against the Moncton Wildcats! It's been an evenly played season series between the two teams with the hint of more to come- if the playoffs were to start right now, this would be a first-round matchup.
It will a special night for Eagles coach Louis Robitaille, as he coaches his 500th game in the QMJHL! One player on a strong opposing side he won't have to contend with tonight is Moncton's leading scorer Yoan Loshing, who is serving the final game of a three-game suspension for kneeing.
Here's what else you need to know ahead of tonight's game!
