
Eagles and Budweiser Events Center Host Block Party Prior to Game Two

WINDSOR, Colo.- The Colorado Eagles, in conjunction with the Budweiser Events Center, have announced that they will host a block party prior to the Eagles playoff game against the Youngstown SteelHounds this Saturday, March 31st starting at 4:30 p.m. The block party will be located directly in front of the main entrance of the Budweiser Events Center.
Ovations will have playoff specials in which there will be free popcorn and beers for just $1. They will also have a beer and brat special in which fans can purchase a big beer for $6.75 and get a brat for just 25 cents. There will be hotdogs, bottled soda, water, cotton candy, sno cones and funnel cakes also for sale.
107.9 The Bear will be on hand playing music and giving away 107.9 The Bear goodies. The pre-game show will start early and be aired live outside the BEC. There will be a car on hand in which fans will be encouraged to "Pound-the-Hounds" before entering the arena. The Eagles will be giving away door prizes throughout the party, and there will be drawings for a signed Eagles jersey among other prizes. The Eagles shoot booth, Slapshot and the Pioneer Press Eagles Chicks will all be on hand helping fans get ready for the game. Finally, there will be a face painter out front helping fans to show their team spirit.
Game one of the opening round is this Friday night at the Budweiser Events Center starting at 7:05 p.m. The car will be available to "Pound-the-Hounds" at 6:00 p.m. when doors open. The pre-game show will be aired live outside the BEC and will start at 6:40 p.m.
