Allen Americans News Release

Allen, Texas - The Central Hockey League announced the 2011-2012 All Rookie Team today, which includes Americans All-Star Defenseman Dylan King.

Dylan King came to the Americans at the end of the 2010-2011 season from the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds. King made the Americans playoff roster and contributed in the Americans playoff run to the Berry Conference Finals.

King was invited to the Phoenix Coyotes training camp in September, and had one call-up to Lake Erie this season, playing in eight games for the Monsters.

The 6'1, 200 pound defenseman was selected to his first CHL All Star Game this year, but missed the game due to an American Hockey League call-up. King, in 44 games for Allen, has eight points and is a plus eleven.

Joining Dylan King on the All CHL Rookie team are: Quad City's Jared Brown, Missouri's Andrew Courtney, Tulsa's Jeff Terminese, Texas' Mark Guggenburger and Tulsa's Mike Ullrich

The Americans return to action on Wednesday night in Arizona, against the Sundogs at 7:05 PM MST.
