Duvie Westcott Recalled By Columbus

Syracuse, NY (December 6, 2002) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled defenseman Duvie Westcott from Syracuse.

Westcott, 25, played in 18 games with Syracuse this season, recording one goal, 10 assists and 52 penalty minutes. Westcott appeared in one game for Columbus after being recalled on December 3. A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Westcott was signed as a free agent by Columbus on May 7, 2001.

The Crunch host the Albany River Rats on Saturday, December 7 at DMV Safety Night at the Crunch.
