PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC midfielder Crystal Dunn, defender Becky Sauerbrunn and forward Sophia Smith have been named to the U.S. Women's National Team roster for a pair of friendly matches against Ireland during the April FIFA window, spanning April 3-11. These will be the final international matches for the USWNT players before head coach Vlatko Andonovski and his staff choose the USA's 23-player World Cup roster later in the spring.
Dunn and Sauerbrunn were both part of the roster for the 2023 SheBelieves Cup in February, while Smith returns to camp with the USWNT for the first time since November 2021. Dunn (130 caps) and Sauerbrunn (214 caps) started two of the three matches for the USWNT at the SheBelieves Cup, including a 2-0 win against Canada on Feb. 16 and in the final match of the tournament, earning a 2-1 win over Brazil on Feb. 22. Smith (27 caps) last featured for the U.S. in a 2-1 win against Germany on Nov. 13, scoring the game-tying goal.

The second match is set for April 11 at CITYPARK in St. Louis, Mo. on HBO Max, Universo and Peacock; kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. (Pacific).
