March 28, 2023 - National Women's Soccer League (NWSL)
Racing Louisville FC News Release
Racing Louisville FC on Tuesday announced the new voice of Lynn Family Stadium for Racing matches, introducing public address announcer Jordan Rivers ahead of this weekend's 2023 home opener.
Rivers, a 16-year Louisville resident born and raised in Calvert City, Kentucky, joins the Racing game-day team after years of work as a PA announcer for Bellarmine University and University of Louisville athletics, including soccer.
The University of Louisville grad is also the host of Afternoons with Jordan Rivers from 3-7 p.m. on Louisville's MIX 106.9 FM.
"All I can say is I'm humbled and fortunate," Rivers said. "Announcing soccer at Bellarmine and U of L has taught me the passion runs deep for this sport in Louisville, and now I join the enthusiasm at the highest level. It's a dream come true!"
Rivers starts with Saturday's 3 p.m. matchup with the Washington Spirit at Lynn Family Stadium. Racing will host 14 matches this season at Lynn Family Stadium - 11 regular-season games and three NWSL UKG Challenge Cup contests.
Single-game and season tickets as well as flex packs and other deals are available now at RacingLouFC.com/tickets or by calling (502) 568-2489 during regular business hours.
