Kansas City Current News Release
KANSAS CITY - The Kansas City Current is proud to announce Amigoni Urban Winery as a new partner through 2025. The club and Amigoni will release a co-branded signature wine, available for purchase later this year. As a new partner, Amigoni Urban Winery will also receive official partner status, use of marks, in-game signage, hospitality, social posts and more.
"We are thrilled to welcome Amigoni Urban Winery as a new partner of the Kansas City Current," said team president Allison Howard. "This partnership continues to show our commitment to creating an authentic Kansas City experience year-round for fans of the Current, and for the future in KC Current Stadium."
Established in 2006, Amigoni Urban Winery produces small lots of dry handcrafted wines in the Stockyards District of Kansas City's Historic West Bottoms. In May of 2012, the winery opened a renovated tasting room and event space in the Daily Drovers Telegram Building.
"We are thrilled to be associated with a world class organization, focused on women's sports and local partners in a state-of-the-art women's soccer facility. Go KC Current!" said Kerry and Michael Amigoni, owners of Amigoni Urban Winery.
The Kansas City Current's first home match is Saturday, April 1 at 11:50 a.m, presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City. Fans are encouraged to #PackThePark for the rematch of the 2022 NWSL Championship against Portland Thorns FC. Tickets for the home opener, season tickets and flex plans are all available at kansascitycurrent.com/tickets.
