Dunedin Opens a Four Game Series with Lakeland

SERIES WIN: Yesterday, Dunedin defeated Jupiter by the tight 1-0 margin to take two of three from the Hammerheads. The game was scoreless heading into the bottom of the ninth inning when the Blue Jays put two runners aboard for Kacy Clemens who drove a single back up the middle scoring the winning run. RHP Graham Spraker was spectacular again in his start for Dunedin, tossing 5.2 Innings of scoreless baseball. RHP Dany Jimenez notched the win for Dunedin out of the pen.

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: Dunedin opens up a series with the Lakeland Flying Tigers at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, FL. It's game one of a four game set and the third of 13 contests between the two in 2019. Back on April 20th, Dunedin completed a two game sweep with a win in Lakeland and lead the season series 2-0. The two teams will play a doubleheader at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium on Sunday in a makeup game from an early season rainout.

EMBRACE THE GRIND: Tonight is the fourth game of a stretch where the D-Jays will play 10 games in a row including a doubleheader on back to back days on Sunday and Monday. Overall, Dunedin will play 29 games in 30 days of the next four weeks heading into the All-Star break.
