TONIGHT'S GAME: The Blue Jays six game road swing continues with the second of three matchups this weekend against FSL North Division rival Daytona at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona Beach, FL. The D-Jays come in having won 10 of 14, 13 of 18, and 19 of their last 27, and are holders of the best winning percentage (.627) in the Florida State League.
AGAINST DAYTONA: Dunedin and Daytona play game two of a three game weekend series and the second of the final six matchups between the two teams in 2019. Tonight's game is the eight of 12 contests between the clubs this season. The Blue Jays have won three straight games from Daytona and two of the last three regular season series against Daytona going back to September of 2018.
PUSH FOR 2,500: With the victory last night, Dunedin reached the 2,500 wins milestone in the organization's history. Since the genesis of the organization, Dunedin has compiled 20 winning seasons-including 10 of the last 12 seasons, 15 half division titles, 16 playoff appearances, and the organization's first Florida State League Championship in 2017. As it stands today, the Blue Jays need just 14 more wins to reach 2,500 regular season wins in franchise history.
