ABOUT LAST NIGHT: Last night, Clearwater defeated Dunedin by the final of 3-0 in game two of the three game set. LHP Damon Jones was purely dominant, striking out a season and career high 11 batters over seven innings of work, and taking a perfect game into the sixth. Clearwater notched three runs in the bottom of the fifth off RHP Turner Larkins to take the lead that they never reliquished. Danny Mayer homered in the game, while Jake Scheiner, and Alec Bohm drove in runs for the Threshers.
TODAY'S GAME: Dunedin and Clearwater play the finale and trhe rubber matchup of this three game series. The Blue Jays have put themselves in the position to pick up their fourth series win in a row with a victory this afternoon. The D-Jays check into play today having won four of five, eight of 10, 11 of 14 and 14 of their last 19 games dating back to May 15th.
