YESTERDAY'S ACTION: Dunedin fell to Clearwater by the final score of 5-1 at Spectrum Field in Clearwater. RHP Jose Tavares pitched a stellar game for the Threshers with a season best seven inning performance. With Clearwater up 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Simon Muzziotti drilled a solo homer to right. Dalton Guthrie followed with a solo bomb to left in the sixth, and Luke Miller's two-run homerun in the eighth provided the proper insurance for the Threshers. RHP Austin Ross notched the six out save with two scoreless out of the pen for Clearwater.

TONIGHT'S ACTION: The Blue Jays wrap up their series with the Clearwater Threshers for the finale of the three game series at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, FL. Today's game will serve as an official home game and count towards the home record of Dunedin. The Jays are looking to win their first series since July 10th. Dunedin checks into play tonight having won two of the last three but losers of five of their last eight, and 13 of 18, but sit at 65-46 overall, 24-22 in second half play and sit a half game back of first place Tampa in the FSL North Division second half standings. Additionally, the D-Jays hold a 37-21 record against North Division opponents this season.

AGAINST CLEARWATER: Dunedin travels 15 minutes down the road to take on the Clearwater Threshers for the finale of the three game set at Spectrum Field in Clearwater. It's the third of seven between the FSL North Division rivals over the next two week time-frame. Overall, tonight is the 13th of 17 games between the clubs in 2019. The D-Jays are looking for their third series win against the Threshers, the second in a row, and hold the edge over at Spectrum Field at 6-2.
