Duck Dynasty Night with Mountain Man Appearance May 31

MONTGOMERY, Ala., May 27, 2014 - The Montgomery Biscuits will welcome Mountain Man from A&E's hit television show, Duck Dynasty, for Duck Dynasty Night on Saturday, May 31 when the Biscuits take on the Mississippi Braves at 6:35 p.m.
Saturday night's game will be dedicated to the Duck Dynasty show. From the minute fans walk into Riverwalk Stadium to the time they leave, sights and sounds from the show will surround them. Duck Dynasty Night will include a Duck Call contest, Duck Dynasty trivia contest, Duck Dynasty player head shots, music and video clips from the show.
In honor of Duck Dynasty Night and Mountain Man's appearance the Biscuits are launching a Beards for Baseball Contest. Fans can submit their best beard photos to the Biscuits Facebook and Twitter pages using #BeardedBiscuits for a chance to win an exclusive Mountain Man Experience. The contest will begin on Tuesday, May 27 and run through Noon on Friday, May 30. Two winners will be selected on Friday, May 30.
The grand prize winner will receive two tickets to the Owner's Suite on Saturday, May 31, an exclusive meet and greet with Mountain Man, an opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch and Biscuits merchandise. The second place winner will receive two tickets to Duck Dynasty Night on Saturday, May 31, an exclusive meet and greet with Mountain Man, an opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch and Biscuits merchandise.
While other Duck Dynasty characters have made appearances in Montgomery, this is Mountain Man's first appearance to the city. Mountain Man will be available throughout Saturday's game for autographs. He will also lead an on-field duck call contest during the game. Gates open at 5:20 p.m. and the first pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. Fans of the show can partake in this exciting night for as little as $8 per ticket.
The Montgomery Biscuits, class AA affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays is a Minor League Baseball member of the Southern League. 2014 will be the Biscuit's eleventh season of operation at Riverwalk Stadium, the centerpiece of Downtown Montgomery, AL located at 200 Coosa Street. The muti-purpose facility hosts all 70 home games in addition to other events through the entire calendar year.
