RHP Brandon Hardin Promoted to Birmingham

The Birmingham Barons and Chicago White Sox have announced that RHP Brandon Hardin has been promoted from Class A Winston-Salem to Birmingham. In a corresponding move, RHP Myles Jaye has been transferred from Birmingham to Winston-Salem. Roster at 25.

Hardin, 24, was selected by the White Sox in the 10th round of the June 2012 First-Year Player Draft out of Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. In his third professional season, Hardin went 0-0 with a 1.32 ERA (2 ER/13.2 IP) with four saves in 14 appearances with the Dash. This will be his first appearance at the Double-A level.

Jaye, the winning pitcher in the clinching game of the 2013 Southern League Finals against Mobile, struggled in his first full season at the Double-A level going 0-6 with a 6.32 ERA (33 ER/47.0 IP) in 10 starts with the Barons in 2014.
