
Duchesne Reassigned to Kalamazoo

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks, announce the Flyers have reassigned goaltender Jeremy Duchesne to the K-Wings.
Entering his third year as a professional, Duchesne spent last season in the ECHL, splitting time between the Mississippi Sea Wolves and the South Carolina Stingrays. Duchesne has played 49 of his 51 contests in the ECHL, with his two other games occurring in the AHL with the Philadelphia Phantoms.
The native of Silver Springs, Maryland was selected by the Flyers in the fourth round (119th overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft and is the son of former NHLer Gaetan Duchesne.
The addition of Duchesne extends the K-Wings roster to 28 players, including Brian McGuirk, who is still in the AHL with the Providence Bruins.
While Duchesne heads to Kalamazoo, the rest of the K-Wings will finish off their preseason schedule with their final preseason contest tonight at 11:15 p.m. (Kalamazoo local time) against the Alaska Aces. Kalamazoo defeated Alaska last night 4-3 in overtime.
Kalamazoo starts its 36-game regular season home schedule on Saturday, October 24th against Reading at 7:30 p.m. Customary for opening night, all fans will received a FREE magnetic schedule courtesy of Meijer. Also, fans will receive a FREE team poster courtesy of Fed-Ex Office and Men's Wearhouse Tux.
Tickets for all K-Wings home games range in price from $9.90-$14.90 for adults and only $6.90 for kids ages 12 and under. Fans can purchase individual game tickets at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office or at any Ticketmaster outlet. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice and New Year's Eve game) will be increased by $1.
All tickets that are purchased for any K-Wings game on game-day will be increased by $1 per ticket.
