Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that they have launched their Facebook and Twitter pages.
The Salmon Kings' Official Facebook Fan Page offers the opportunity to follow all Salmon Kings' news and information regarding the team, games and community relations events. There are also 37 photo albums with thousands of photos for fans to browse through on the site and there will be new photo albums added after every home stand. Fans are also encouraged to post their own Salmon King pictures. Visit www.facebook.com today and join the "Official" Salmon Kings Fan Page today!
Along with Facebook, the Salmon Kings now offer fans the opportunity to follow them every step of the way in 2009-10 on Twitter! Updates on the Twitter page, found at www.twitter.com/TheSalmonKings, will give fans real-time updates on everything Salmon Kings as well as news regarding the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
The Salmon Kings' Blue vs. White Inter-squad Game presented by 100.3 the Q and The Zone @ 91.3 is this Friday, October 9th @ 7:00 p.m. Admission into the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre is FREE and hot dogs, pop, and popcorn will be sold for $1.00 each on that night only!
