Greenville Drive News Release

Wednesday night's game between the Greenville Drive and Charleston RiverDogs has been suspended due to rain in the Charleston area. The Drive were leading 1-0 in the top of the third when the game was halted.

The game will be resumed Thursday night at 6:05 in Charleston, while the teams will play a seven-inning game following the conclusion of the suspended game.

The Drive took the 1-0 lead after just two batters, as Mookie Betts and Cody Koback laced back-to-back doubles against RiverDogs starter Cesar Vargas.

Greenville starter Justin Haley hurled two shutout innings with a pair of strikeouts before the game was suspended.

RHP Francellis Montas (1-5, 5.23) is the projected starter in Thursday's second game for the Drive, while the RiverDogs are scheduled to send RHP Rafael De Paula (6-2, 2.48) to the mound.
