WICHITA, KS - After displaying minimal offense the previous two games and being shut out the night before, the Tulsa Drillers returned the favor on Thursday with a big offensive performance. Tulsa's offense scored ten runs on 12 hits, including three home runs, in a 10-0 win over the Wichita Wind Surge at Riverfront Stadium.

Three Tulsa pitchers combined to toss a three-hit shutout with starter Nick Frasso working five innings to earn his second win. The shutout was the tenth by the Drillers pitching staff this season.

The Tulsa broke the trend of the first two nights by scoring first in the top of the first inning on Jorbit Vivas' solo home run.

With one out in the third inning, Ismael Alcantara singled, stole second base, and advanced to third base on a throwing error by the catcher. Austin Gauthier scored Alcantara with a sacrifice fly to increase the Drillers lead to 2-0.

Yusniel Diaz scored the Drillers third run with his seventh home run of the season in the fourth inning to make the score 3-0.

A fourth run was scored by Tulsa in the fifth on a sacrifice fly from Vivas that plated Hamlet Marte.

The Drillers offense shined again in the sixth inning when Josh Stowers blasted a two-run homer to give Tulsa a 6-0 lead.

All nine Tulsa hitters in the lineup stepped to the plate in the seventh inning and scored six runs on five hits, a walk and a hit by pitch to increase the lead to 10-0.

Ben Harris and Aldry Acosta combined to pitch the final four innings. Neither pitcher allowed a hit as they combined to strike out three in completing the shutout.
