Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Bowling Green Hot Rods (affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays) in the first game of a two-game series.

Last Game: Monday: Dayton 6, South Bend 2. Brian Rey had a pair of RBI doubles, Miles Gordon and Juan Martinez each had solo home runs, and four Dayton pitchers combined to limit South Bend to 1 for 9 with men in scoring position. Lyon Richardson retired the first nine batters and earned the win with five good innings. The bullpen trio of Carlos Machorro, Matt Pidich, and Connor Bennett shutout the Cubs over the final four innings. Rey, Martinez, and Miguel Hernandez each had two hits.

The Dragons went 2-5 on road trip that ended Monday night with a win in South Bend.

The Dragons have scored in the first inning in each of their last three games.
