Today's Game : The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the South Bend Silver Hawks (affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks) in the finale of a three-game series. The Dragons can pick up their first three-game sweep of the year with a win. Season Series : Dayton 4, South Bend 2.

Last Game : Dayton defeated South Bend 8-7 on Thursday. The Dragons scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth without an out being recorded to overcome a 7-5 deficit and notch their second "walk-off" victory of 2012. It was the first time this season that the Dragons had overcome a deficit in the ninth inning of more than one run on the way to winning.

Individual Notes

- In the 10 game dates from May 21-31, Dayton's Kurtis Muller is second in the league in batting average at .475. He is 19 for 40 and has taken over the team lead in home runs with four. Muller had two career homers in 126 games prior to joining the Dragons on May 21. He has hit safely in nine of the 10 games and has at least two hits in eight of the 10. Muller is also tied for the league lead in hits and runs and is second in slugging percentage (.825) since May 21.

- Ryan Wright was 0 for 2 on Tuesday and left the game in the fifth inning with a sprained wrist as his 11-game hitting streak came to an end. He hit .478 over the course of the streak, the second highest batting average for any hitting streak of 10 games or more in the league this season. Over Wright's last 12 games, he is batting .457 (21 for 46) with eight doubles to raise his average from .273 to .315. He has had at least two hits in eight of the 12 games. Wright has not played since Tuesday due to the sprained wrist and his status is day-to-day.

- Sean Buckley is batting .389 over his last 10 games (14 for 36) with a home run and five doubles.

Team Notes

- A win tonight would give the Dragons their first series sweep and their first three-game winning streak of 2012.

- The Dragons have won four straight home games for the first time this season. They won the last two games of the last home series 5/19-21.

- The Dragons are 7-6 over their last 13 games after going 2-16 over the previous 18 games. They were 12-11 prior to that 18-game stretch.

- The Dragons are batting .290 as a team over their last 11 games (108 for 372). They have scored at least six runs in eight of the 11 games.

- The Dragons are batting .363 (33 for 91) with runners in scoring position over their last 10 games.
