
Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Back Home June 6 Through June 11

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are in a pennant race and they return to Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium for the first time since May 21 to start a six game homestand on June 6. To celebrate the start of summer, the Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers present Miller Summer Kickoff with $1 Miller products and ticket giveaways during all six games of the homestand.
Pairs of tickets to Noah's Ark, Summerfest, Country USA, Rock USA, and the EAA Fly-In will be given away during all six games.
In addition to the Miller Summer Kickoff, the Rattlers have a full schedule of giveaways, special dates, and a pair of fireworks displays set for their final homestand of the first half. Full details on the promotions that are scheduled are below:
- Wednesday, June 6 at 7:05pm; 105.7 WAPL Bang for Your Buck Night; Salute to Cows Night; Milk Source Cow & Cheese Baseball Giveaway: Wisconsin is America's Dairyland and the Timber Rattlers celebrate that fact on Salute to Cows Night presented by Milk Source and Morning Glory. The first 1,000 fans to the game will receive a special Cow & Cheese patterned baseball from Milk Source. There will be plenty of cow and dairy related fun at the ballpark. Also, Fans can take advantage of $1 Cher-Make hot dogs, $1 Pepsi Products, and $1 Miller Beers on a Bang for Your Buck Night!
- Thursday, June 7 at 7:05pm; Slugger's Sports Bar Thirsty Thursday presented by 95.9 KISS FM; Kagen Allergy Clinic Rally Towel Giveaway; and Educator Appreciation Night: The start of summer means the end of the school year and the Timber Rattlers are offering a special ticket discount of $1 off a box or reserved bleacher seat to area educators when they show their school ID at the ticket window. Plus, the first 1,000 fans to attend this game will receive a rally towel courtesy of Kagen Allergy Clinic. Fans can enjoy 16oz soda and beer for just $2 as part of Thirsty Thursday presented by Slugger's Sports Bar! After the game, those in attendance can take their ticket stub to Sluggers Sports Bar - located in Super Bowl on Northland Avenue - to win Miller Lite drinks and prizes.
- Friday, June 8 at 7:05pm; North Shore Bank Family Night w/ Y100; Player Poster featuring Chad Thompson and Mark Williams; FIREWORKS! The Timber Rattlers are honoring pitchers Chad Thompson and Mark Williams for their combined no-hitter on May 4 in Clinton with a combined player poster for the first 1,000 to attend this game. Both Rattlers pitchers are featured on poster #5 in the series of 10 player posters for the 2012 season. A North Shore Bank Family night means that children 12 and under eat free. Stick around after the game for the first post-game fireworks display of the season. After the fireworks, children 14 and under may participate in Kids Run the Bases presented by Jernegan's Health Mart.
- Saturday, June 9 at 6:35pm; Fly Away Saturday from Funjet Vacations and Fox World Travel; Star Wars ¢ Night; FOX-11 FIREWORKS! The Force will be with the Timber Rattlers and their fans when the team takes the field in special Star Wars ¢ jerseys. Movie characters from the Wisconsin Garrison will be on hand to throw out a first pitch and pose for pictures. A silent auction for the jerseys will be held during the game with proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Fly Away Saturday means that one lucky fan will win charter airfare for two from Funjet Vacations and Fox World Travel at this game! Fireworks will go BOOM after the ballgame.
- Sunday, June 10 at 1:05pm; Brewers Sunday presented by 107.5 The Fan; Mutts on the Mound: The Fox Valley Humane Association presents Mutts on the Mound. The left field berm seating area will be set aside for pets and their owners. Admission is $5 for humans and pets. Proceeds from pet tickets will be donated to the FVHA. Before the game fans can play catch on-field courtesy of 77 KIDS. Timber Rattlers players will be available for an autograph session after the game. Time Warner Cable customers can receive up to four half-priced reserved bleacher tickets when showing their TWC bill at time of ticket purchase. Players will be wearing Brewers-themed jerseys on-field during the game.
- Monday, June 11 at 12:05pm; B104.7 Qdoba Q*Monday; Baker Tilly Business Persons & Senior Citizens Special; Daycare & Park and Rec Day: The first Daycare & Park and Rec Day at the stadium means that there is a discounted ticket offer for groups from daycares and area parks and recreation departments. Call a group ticket representative in the Timber Rattlers ticket office for more details on how to take advantage of this special offer. A weekday day game means a Baker Tilly Business Persons Special. Show your business card when you purchase a ticket and for $11.50 you will receive a box seat ticket, a beverage and your choice of brat or hot dog. Fans may receive a free ticket to any Monday home game on the 2012 schedule when they purchase a lunch entrée at the Qdoba by the Fox River Mall on a B104.7 Qdoba Q*Monday. Stop by Qdoba for lunch on Monday and for your free ticket to any Monday home game the rest of the season.
Fans are urged to purchase their tickets for these games in advance one of three ways: On-line at www.timberrattlers.com, over the phone at 800-WI-TIMBER, or in person at the Time Warner Cable Field Box Office. The box office is located at Fox Cities Stadium and is open on non-game days from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday and from 10am to 3pm on Saturdays.
