Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers) in the rubber match of a three-game series and the last game of a six-game road trip for Dayton.

Inter-Divisional Games: The Dragons are 13-3 vs. West Division teams this season (8-2 on the road).

Today's Dragons Starting Pitcher: Amir Garrett makes his 20th start of 2014 for the Dragons tonight. In Garrett's last nine starts, he is 4-1 with a 2.22 ERA, holding opposing batters to a combined average of .182.

Individual Notes

- Robert Ramirez has gone 8 for 18 (.444) in his first five games with the Dragons, collecting two doubles and a home run.

- Phillip Ervin has hit safely in seven straight games, going 10 for 26 (.385) with three doubles, a triple, and a home run.

- Joe Hudson is batting .346 with one home run over his last eight games.

- Carlton Daal is batting .368 on the road trip through six games (7 for 19).

- Nolan Becker has allowed just one earned run over his last 14 outings (17.2 IP, 9 H, 4 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 21 SO, 0.51 ERA).

Team Notes

* The Dragons are 4-1 on their current road trip after losing the previous five games at home.

* The Dragons loss yesterday snapped an eight-game road winning streak. They had not lost on the road since June 25 at Fort Wayne.

* Prior to Sunday's 3-0 loss, the Dragons had scored at least five runs in six straight games and at least four runs in 11 of the last 13. They are 37-16 this season when scoring at least four runs in a game.

* The Dragons 3.02 team ERA in July is second best in the league and best in the Eastern Division.
