Lugnuts Place Dawson on DL

LANSING, Mich. - In conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, the Lansing Lugnuts have placed pitcher Shane Dawson on the 7-day Disabled List retroactive to July 19th .
Dawson, 20, is 3-5 with a 3.38 ERA in 14 appearances (10 starts) in his first year in Lansing. The native of Drayton Valley, Alberta, fired six scoreless innings in his most recent outing, July 16th vs. Kane County.
The updated Lugnuts official roster is attached, comprising 24 active players, four players on the Disabled List and one player on the Temporarily Inactive List.
Lansing heads on the road for a pair of three-game series against Peoria and Burlington beginning Wednesday night. The next Lugnuts home game is a Dollar Deal Day, Tuesday, July 29th vs. the Dayton Dragons.
