
Doubleheader Scheduled for August 8th

Trenton Thunder News Release
(Trenton, NJ) - The Trenton Thunder, the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, have announced that there will be a double-header between the Thunder and the Harrisburg Senators (Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals) on Saturday, August 8th. The first game of the double-header will start at 6:05 p.m. Both games of the double-header will be seven-innings.
Trenton's double-header against Harrisburg on Wednesday, July 29th was postponed because of rain. One of the games will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Thursday, July 30 starting at 6:05 PM. Thursday's doubleheader will feature postgame fireworks courtesy of the Bucks County Courier Times.
The Thunder have announced that all kids will eat for free at Waterfront Park all season long. All children with a ticket, ages 12 and under, will receive a voucher upon entering the ballpark good for a free hot dog, bag of potato chips, and a 12 oz. fountain soda at all 71 Thunder home games this season.
The Thunder are the only team in Minor League Baseball history at the Double A Level or below to draw over 400,000 fans for 14 consecutive seasons and have drawn over 6 million in attendance in its 15-year history.
