
DoorDash Becomes Official On-Demand Delivery Platform of Vancouver Whitecaps FC

VANCOUVER, BC - DoorDash, a leading last-mile logistics platform, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Friday a partnership that makes DoorDash the 'Caps Official On-Demand Delivery Platform.
"We are very excited to welcome DoorDash to the Whitecaps family," said Axel Schuster, Whitecaps FC sporting director and chief executive officer. "We very much share in their vision of celebrating and uniting our neighbourhoods. For them it's through food, and for us through sport. We are looking forward to partnering together to highlight and reward local restaurants and fans."
Over the coming months DoorDash and Whitecaps FC will work to impact the community through the power of food and sport. The partnership will take fans closer to local restaurants through community initiatives and digital and social content, featuring the diverse and delicious food scene that makes up The Village.
"As the new, official on-demand delivery partner of the Vancouver Whitecaps we are excited to bring soccer fans and food lovers a little bit of the Vancouver community directly to their doorsteps at a time when the safety of our community remains a priority," said Brent Seals, General Manager of DoorDash Canada.
DoorDash is now the official sponsor for the Whitecaps FC Starting XI, which includes the Guess the Starting XI Contest offering fans the opportunity to win a $200 DoorDash gift card for correctly predicting Vancouver's Starting XI prior to each match.
Fans with a DoorDash account will also have the opportunity to take advantage of promotional offers on match day and enter to win great prizes.
