Frederick, MD - Frederick Keys catcher, Adam Donachie was named Carolina league Player of the Week for the week of June 23-26. Donachie belted three home runs over the weekend while batting 4-for-7 with eight RBI's. His two-home run evening on Saturday, June 25th was the first multi-home run game for the Keys in 2010.
Selected in the second round of the 2002 draft by the Kansas City Royals, Donachie, 27, first reached Advanced Class-A baseball in the California League with the High Desert Mavericks in 2005. 2011 marks Donachie's third in the Orioles system and Donachie spent nearly all of 2010 with Triple-A Norfolk of the International League.
