Dogs Win Fourth Straight Behind Dominant Pitching

ROSEMONT, ILL. - The Chicago Dogs won their fourth game in a row, dismounting the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, 7-1, on Saturday night at Impact Field. Starting pitcher Trevor Lane surrendered no runs in five innings of work, and the Chicago bullpen held down the fort for a victory. Cody Bohanek blasted his second home run of the season to key the offense in the second inning.

Three Key Plays:

Bohanek's three-run home run was a monster shot to left field, and it lifted to the Dogs in front, 3-0.

Johnathon Tripp struck out Alec Olund with the bases loaded in the sixth inning to end a Fargo threat.

Donivan Williams iced the win with a two-run pinch-hit single in the seventh inning, extending the Dogs' lead to 7-1.

The Arms: Lane's five innings were bolstered by Tripp, Jonathan Cheshire, Aiden McIntyre and Bryan Warzek out of the bullpen. Fargo-Moorhead's Correlle Prime started with two innings.
