Lake Country DockHounds News Release

OCONOMOWOC, WI. - The Chicago Dogs took game two of a three-game series against the Lake Country DockHounds 11-3 Saturday evening.

Chicago would start the game on a great note for Chicago. Ryan Lidge kicked off the first inning by driving Charlie Tilson with an RBI double.

In the second frame, Grant Kay hit a solo home run to extend the lead by two runs.

Tilson got on base in the third with a single and Michael Crouse was hit by a pitch. Two batters later, Stevie Wilkerson knocked in two runners with a single. The score was 4-0 Chicago.

The seventh inning stretch was long overdue as the Dogs piled on the runs. Crouse advanced on a double, scoring two of the first six runs. Ryan Lidge did what he is known to do - get base hits. This time he drove in two runs.

Wilkerson plated Lidge with a double and also scored on a Grant Kay single. Chicago went into the 7th inning stretch with a comfortable 10-0 lead.

Jake Snider had the hot bat in the bottom of the seventh with a two-run blast over the left field wall.

Kay struck again, this time with a solo home run in the ninth. In the last half inning, Manny Blanco drove in Lamar Briggs with an RBI double.

The DockHounds will play the Chicago Dogs at 1:35 p.m. Sunday afternoon to wrap up the series. You can catch the game live on AAbaseball.tv, with broadcaster Sam Matheny on play-by-play.
