Dinosaur to "Throw" out First Pitch May 1

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (April 23, 2015) - Journey back 65 million years during your next trip to CMC-NorthEast Stadium when the Kannapolis Intimidators host "Jurassic Ballpark" on Friday, May 1. Dakota and Friends, featuring the most lifelike dinosaurs since the Cretaceous Period, will be on hand to interact with children of all ages starting when gates open at 6 p.m. Dakota will even "throw" out the ceremonial first pitch before the Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, take on the Rome Braves (Atlanta Braves) at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are available by calling the F&M Bank Box Office at (704) 932-3267 or by visiting IntimidatorsBaseball.com.

The Intimidators' next home stand begins on Tuesday, April 28, with a 3-game series against the Greenville Drive (Red Sox) before opening a 4-game set against Rome on Friday.
