JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a series of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp roster prior to tonight's doubleheader against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville at 5:05 p.m.

Left-handed pitcher Mike Kickham has been transferred from Jacksonville to Triple-A New Orleans. Kickham pitched in two games for Jacksonville, working a scoreless three and a third innings where he did not allow a hit and struck out three batters with no walks.

In a corresponding move, left-handed relief pitcher Miguel Del Pozo has been transferred from Jacksonville's disabled list to the active roster. Del Pozo, a member of the Marlins 40-man roster, began the season on Jacksonville's disabled list with a left pectoralis major strain. Del Pozo pitched in five games for Jacksonville last season, going 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA.

Additionally, infielder Chris Diaz has been transferred from Triple-A New Orleans to Jacksonville. Diaz played in three games for the Baby Cakes, hitting .091 (1-for-11) with a run batted in. Diaz started the season with Jacksonville, playing in 37 games and hitting .206 with seven runs batted in.

In a corresponding move, infielder Luis Pintor has been transferred from Jacksonville to extended spring training. Pintor played in five games for the Jumbo Shrimp, hitting .083 (1-for-12) with a run batted in.

Additionally, outfielder Anfernee Seymour has been transferred from High-A Jupiter to Jacksonville. Seymour played in 16 games for the Hammerheads hitting .306 (19-for-62) with two home runs and six runs batted in. Seymour was signed by the Marlins as a minor league free agent on May 10 after he was released by the Atlanta Braves organization on May 6. Seymour started the season in the Braves organization with High-A Florida, and with the Fire Frogs he hit .195 with six runs batted in.

In a corresponding move, outfielder Kyle Barrett has been released by the Marlins organization. Barrett played in 36 games for Jacksonville, hitting .228 with no home runs and 12 runs batted in to go along with five doubles and four triples.

The Jumbo Shrimp roster stands at 25 active players, plus Brett Graves on his rehab assignment from the Miami Marlins, and a revised roster is attached.

The Jumbo Shrimp conclude their series with Pensacola in a doubleheader at 5:05 p.m. Saturday. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., when the first 2,000 fans receive a Baseball Bat Can Cooler, courtesy of 121 Financial. For ERMAHGERD JMBSHRMP Meme Night, the original internet meme, Ermahgerd Girl, whose real name is Maggie Goldenberger, will throw a ceremonial first pitch and then take photos and meet and greet fans. On Hurricane Preparedness Night, one lucky fan will win a generator from Lowe's. Following the doubleheader are Saturday Night Fireworks, which follow each Saturday game through June 16.
