MISSOULA, MT - The Arizona Diamondbacks sent right-hander Mitchell Stumpo to Missoula on Wednesday, and will join the team's bullpen immediately.

Following a physical examination in Scottsdale, the 6'2 righty appeared in two games for the Arizona League Diamondbacks, totaling three strikeouts on five hits in two innings of work.

On July 20, Stumpo threw ten pitches against the AZL Angels, all locating as strikes, striking out two.

A 2019 business administration graduate from Guilford College (NCAA DIII), Stumpo struck out 80 batters in 70.0 innings of work for the Quakers, limiting batters to a .250 average at the plate.
