Devils Open Doors To Four-Legged Friends

ALBANY, NY - The Albany Devils and the Mohawk & Hudson Humane Society have partnered for the first annual "Pucks & Paws" night on Saturday, January 29 at Times Union Center. Fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to the 7 p.m. contest against Rochester. A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit the Humane Society.

Tickets, admitting an individual and his/her dog, are $20 with $5 being donated to the Mohawk & Hudson Humane Society. The dogs and owners will have special seating in the upper bowl of the arena. Additional tickets are available for $15.

For patrons not partaking in "Pucks & Paws," individual tickets are $19.

The Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society (MHRHS) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that has been providing shelter for lost, abused and unwanted animals since 1887. Their animal care facility is the largest in the Capital Region, receiving an average of over 6,000 animals per year. They receive common household pets like cats, dogs, rabbits and hamsters, but also snakes, birds, iguanas, fish, horses, livestock and even llamas.
