Devils assign Darby to Albany

Albany N.Y. – The Albany River Rats today announced that the New Jersey Devils have re-assigned center Craig Darby to the American Hockey League franchise. He is expected to be in the lineup when the River Rats skate against the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday night in a 7:00PM contest at Pepsi Arena.

The 30-year-old posted a minus-one rating and picked up an assist in two games while skating with New Jersey. He remains the River Rats' leading scorer with 18 (4-14) points in 18 games played during the 2002-03 season.

The 1991 graduate of Albany Academy is in his 10TH professional season and shows career National Hockey League totals of 21 goals and 35 assists for 56 points in 194 games with Montreal, Philadelphia, the New York Islanders and New Jersey.
