CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Dennis Desrosiers and Andy MacWilliams will be inducted into the Cincinnati Hockey Hall of Fame during the first intermission of the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks game Saturday, February 26 against the Houston Aeros at Cincinnati Gardens. They have been selected for induction by the Cincinnati Hockey Hall of Fame executive committee, media and fans.

Their inductions will bring to 12 the number of former coaches, players and individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the growth and awareness of hockey in Cincinnati enshrined in the Hall of Fame.

Desrosiers was named head coach and director of hockey operations of the original ECHL Cincinnati Cyclones July 25, 1990. In four seasons behind the Cyclones bench, including two seasons from 1992-94 as members of the International Hockey League, Desrosiers compiled a 132-108-23 record (.546) in 263 games.

MacWilliams began his broadcasting career in the Queen City in 1975 as the radio play-by-play announcer for the Cincinnati Stingers of the World Hockey Association. After three seasons with the Stingers, he was named play-by-play announcer for the Chicago Blackhawks prior to the start of the 1978-79 season. He returned to Cincinnati in 1981 and did television play-by-play for the Cincinnat Tigers (1981-82) and was a color analyst on the IHL Cyclones telecasts in 1994-95. In 1995, he was named the Cyclones lead radio play-by-play announcer, spending two seasons in that role.

Desrosiers and MacWilliams will be available to meet fans, sign autographs and pose for photographs prior to the game in Legends Museum the night of their induction.
