Aeros to debut third jerseys March 4
February 22, 2005 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Houston Aeros News Release
HOUSTON, Texas â The Houston Aeros will debut their "third" jerseys next Friday, March 4, at their 7:35 p.m. game against the Hartford Wolf Pack at Toyota Center. The jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit Houston Aeros Charities.
A silent auction for the jerseys will take place on the Toyota Center concourse at each game and continuing through the first intermission of the Friday, April 15 game against Chicago. Winners will get the jerseys at that game.
Fans not residing in the Houston area will have a chance to own a jersey as well, as the Aeros will hold an online auction via www.aeros.com for the following jerseys: Mikko Koivu and Josh Harding. This will give fans across the globe access to the third jersey. The auction for these two jerseys will begin March 5, the day after the jerseys are unveiled, and it will end April 14 at noon (ct).
In addition, one (1) jersey will go to a randomly selected fan in attendance on April 15. No purchase is necessary.
Details can be found on www.aeros.com.
