Denny Hamlin Visits Cincinnati Cyclones on January 6

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones announced Monday (Oct. 2) that NASCAR Nextel Cup driver Denny Hamlin will join in the festivities of the team's NASCAR Night on January 6, 2007. Full details of Hamlin's visit will be coming in the next few weeks, but he will be at U.S. Bank Arena that night for the game against Reading. A special meet and greet dinner will be held before the game, details for that dinner will follow shortly.

Hamlin, 25, is currently in second place in NASCAR's premier division, trailing Jeff Burton by 69 points for the circuit's point lead. Denny has claimed two victories this season and has 15 top ten finishes.

NASCAR Night has been a popular fixture in previous Cyclones seasons. Among the drivers to visit the team and U.S. Bank Arena include: Matt Kenseth, Sterling Marlin, Steve Park and Tony Stewart.

All 72 regular season Cincinnati Cyclones games can be heard on the club's website www.cycloneshockey.com. The Cincinnati Cyclones are an affiliate of the National Hockey League's (NHL) Montreal Canadiens.

The Cyclones begin the 2006-07 season on Friday night, October 20 against Pensacola at U.S. Bank Arena.
