PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and the San Antonio Rampage, have announced that forwards Scott Seney, Joe Ori, and Brad King, and defenseman Weston Tardy have each agreed to terms on contracts for the 2006-07 season.

Seney, 23, was a senior captain at NCAA Division I Union College (N.Y.) last season and finished third on the Flying Dutchmen in scoring with a team-leading 17 assists and 22 points. The Silver Springs, Md. native, who recently attended training camp with the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League, twice led Union College in assists and also set two school records as a sophomore in 2003-04 with five total game-winning goals and three game-winning goals in league play. Seney finished his four-year collegiate career with 33 goals, 56 assists, and 89 points in 146 games.

Ori, 24, tallied 47 goals and 87 points in 49 games as a rookie for Miesbach TEV of the German Oberliga last season to lead the club in scoring. A native of Niles, Ill., Ori was a co-winner of the 2005 Joe Concannon Award, which recognizes New England's best American-born NCAA Division II or Division III hockey player, after producing a career-high 29 assists and 40 points in 26 games as a senior captain at Trinity College (Conn.) during the 2004-05 season. Ori was also named a 2005 Division III First Team All-American after leading Trinity to their third best record in program history and a spot in the NCAA Division III Frozen Four. Ori amassed 49 goals, 75 assists and 124 points in 105 career collegiate games.

King, 23, and Tardy, 23, also join the RoadRunners from the collegiate ranks following four-year stints at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell and Colorado College respectively. The Calgary, Alberta native King tallied five goals and 12 points in 35 games during his senior season with the River Hawks. A former All-Star in the Alberta Junior Hockey League, King collected 14 goals, 28 assists and 42 points in 125 games at UMASS-Lowell. Tardy was limited to just 21 games last season after a year in which he appeared in all but seven contests and was the primary defensive partner of former Tigers' All-American and current Boston Bruin Mark Stuart and helped lead Colorado College to the Frozen Four. The Duluth, Minn. native recorded a career-best seven assists during the 2004-05 season and is reunited with former Colorado College teammate Aaron Slattengren. Tardy notched three goals, 15 assists, and 18 points in 110 career collegiate games.

Seney, Ori, King, and Tardy join a RoadRunners training camp roster that already includes forwards Joe Dusbabek, Aaron Slattengren, Brett Smith, Tommy Maxwell, Kyle Musselman, and Shawn Futers, defensemen Paul Ballantyne, Brent Henley, Dusty Demianiuk, David Pszenyczny, and Andrew Winnik, and goaltender Mike Mole.
