NEWARK, DE - The Delaware 87ers (7-23) fall in a close game to the Springfield Armor (8-17), 115-112.
Tonight's player of the game and Sixers assignee, Lorenzo Brown dropped in 33 points and dished out eight assists.
The Armor led 68-50 at the half way mark, but the Sevens fought back, bringing the deficit to nine by the end of the 3rd quarter. Matt Bouldin (22 points, five rebounds) kept the Sevens in the game with a flurry of three point field goals in the 3rd quarter. Tiny Gallon heated up in the second half scoring 14 of his 20 points.
Springfield guards Larry Anderson (21 points, 11 rebounds) and Darius Johnson-Odom (25 points, eight assists) helped their team squeeze past the Sevens.
The 87ers return to action, Tuesday, February 4, when they take on the Maine Red Claws. The game tips off at 7:00 p.m. E.T. at the Bob Carpenter Center.
