
Austin Toros Split Weekend Play with Tulsa 66ers

Austin, TX Feb. 1, 2014-The Austin Toros split the weekend series with the Tulsa 66ers losing 100-88 Saturday afternoon at Cedar Park Center.
Tulsa started off fast, growing their largest lead of 20 points in the second quarter and ending the half 57-39. Flip Murray's sharp-shooting in the second half helped to twice bring the Toros within six points. Tulsa's Isaiah Wilkerson responded by scoring 13 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter, helping lead his team to a win.
Austin Toros' Flip Murray led all scorers with 27 points. Both Dexter Pittman (10) and Courtney Fells (20) contributed points off the bench.
Tulsa 66ers' Maurice Sutton (15 points, 16 rebounds) and Oklahoma City assignee Andre Roberson (17 points, 11 rebounds) each recorded double-doubles. Mario Little (20), Mustafa Shakur (17) and Isaiah Wilkerson (17) all finished with double-digit points.
Austin Toros (11-15) and Tulsa 66ers (10-18) both play on Feb. 4th. The Toros travel to Ohio to take on the Canton Charge and the 66ers head home to play the Iowa Energy.
