Defenseman is Third 'Catter to be Called up to AHL This Season

Beaumont, TX (December 12, 2006) Texas Wildcatters Vice-President of Hockey Operations and Head Coach Malcolm Cameron has announced that defenseman J.F. David has been called up to the Manitoba Moose of the AHL. In 16 games, David has 2 goals and 20 assists for 22 points for Texas. He is currently second among ECHL defensemen in assists.

David is the third Wildcatter to be called up to the AHL already this season. Marco Rosa was recalled to the Houston Aeros and in 4 games; he scored a game winning goal against Grand Rapids on November 26 and had an assist. Also, Kevin Baker was recalled to the Milwaukee Admirals and in 2 games against San Antonio, he had 3 assists and was a plus 3.

The Texas Wildcatters are the ECHL affiliate for the AHL's Houston Aeros. The next Wildcatters home game is on Thursday, December 14 vs. the Phoenix Roadrunners.
