Defenseman Dallas Jackson Called up to AHL Lake Erie

Defenseman Dallas Jackson has been called up to the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League.

Jackson makes his second trip this season to the AHL, his first to Lake Erie. Jackson was scoreless in three games this season for Bridgeport from February 17th to February 21st. Jackson has earned 24 points (seven goals, 17 assists) in 54 games this season to lead all Gladiators blue liners in scoring.

The Edson, Alberta native skated in 39 ECHL games last season with Gwinnett and Reading. He earned nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 30 games with Reading but did not register a point in nine games with Gwinnett last year.

Gwinnett returns to action on Saturday at the Arena at Gwinnett Center at 7:05 p.m. as they host the Cincinnati Cyclones .

The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres and the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
