Peoria, IL- Rain washed away the second game of the four game series between the Dayton Dragons (14-17, 44-57) and the Peoria Chiefs (12-19, 47-54). 5,000 plus fans went home disappointed as the Peoria "debut" of Nomar Garciaparra, who is scheduled to play three games at O'Brien Field on a rehab stint, will have to wait until Wednesday night.
The Dragons and Chiefs will make up the washed out game as part of a double header on Wednesday night. The two seven inning games will start at 7:00 PM. 1410 ESPN Radio WING AM will broadcast both games live with the pre game show beginning at 6:30 PM RHP Jon George and RHP James Morrison will get the starts for the Dragons, while Peoria will counter with RHP Matt Weber and LHP Jerry Blevins.
