Today's Game : The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Beloit Sky Carp (affiliates of the Miami Marlins) in the fourth game of a six-game series.

Last Game: Thursday: Dayton 1, Beloit 0. Johnathan Harmon and Arij Fransen combined on a four-hit shutout and Sal Stewart drove in the only run of the game with a fifth inning RBI groundout. The Dragons have posted back-to-back shutout wins for the first time since April 26-27, 2022 at Fort Wayne (starters were Joe Boyle, Bryce Bonnin). Dragons pitchers have gone 16 straight innings without allowing a run and 21 straight innings without allowing an earned run.
Last night's win lifted the Dragons to the .500 mark for the first time since they were 6-6 on April 18. They were last above .500 on April 17 (6-5).
Over the last seven games, Dragons pitchers have posted an ERA of 1.45, allowing 10 earned runs in 62 innings, and only 38 hits with 75 strikeouts. The team ERA over this period (since May 23) is the best in full-season MiLB (120 teams).
