Dayton Dragons Announce Transactions

The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:

Outfielder Jose Siri has been transferred from Dayton to the Billings roster (extended spring training).

Infielder Gavin LaValley has been transferred to Dayton from Daytona (Advanced-A) and activated from the disabled list.

The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

LaValley has not appeared in a game this season. He spent the entire 2015 season with the Dragons, appearing in 125 games and batting .267 with four home runs and 53 RBI. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2014 draft by the Reds out of Carl Albert High School in Midwest City, Oklahoma. LaValley is listed as the 24th best prospect in the Reds organization by Baseball America.

Siri appeared in 27 games for the Dragons this season, batting .145 with no home runs and three RBI.
