Day One of RBC Shootout in the Books

Milwaukee, WI-The first day of the RBC Wealth Management Shootout is in the books with top seeded Cedarburg advancing to the second round along with defending tournament champion Hartland Arrowhead, University School of Milwaukee, and Germantown.

Cedarburg picked up a 6-1 win over Whitefish Bay-Nicolet-Shorewood (WNS) in the first contest of the tournament, while University School advanced in the most exciting game of day one, a 2-1 shootout win over their rival Marquette University High School. Arrowhead came away with a 5-0 shutout over Mequon Homestead and Germantown posted the lone upset of the tournament when they defeated third seeded Brookfield 7-1.

In day two, Cedarburg will square off against University School at 11 am at Wilson Park on Monday morning followed by the second semifinal of Arrowhead and Germantown set for 1:00 pm at Wilson Park. In the consolation bracket, WNS will battle Marquette High at 12:00 pm at the Bradley Center with Homestead and Brookfield hitting the ice at BC at 2:45 pm.

The finals of the fourth annual RBC Shootout will take place at the Bradley Center on Tuesday, December 29 at 2:45 pm. All games for the RBC Shootout are free and open to the public. For games at the Bradley Center, fans should enter at Lobby A, located on the northeast corner of the building.

The tournament is held in conjunction with a pair of Admirals home games. The Ads will host Grand Rapids at 7:00 pm on Monday night before Rockford comes to town for another 7:00 pm fray on Tuesday.
