Rats Return Pistilli To Florida

Albany River Rats News Release
ALBANY, NY-The Albany River Rats announced today that the club has reassigned forward Matthew Pistilli to the Florida Everblades of the ECHL. Pistilli, 21, had one assist in four games with Albany since being recalled from Florida on December 11th. The Montreal, Quebec native scored six points (3-3-6) in 25 games with the River Rats this season. Pistilli (6'2", 219 lbs.) has also played in three ECHL games with the Everblades this season. The undrafted free agent signed a three-year, two-way contract with Carolina on May 20, 2009 after completing his four year Juniors Career with Shawinigan.
Albany plays the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins tonight at the Times Union Center in a 5:00 p.m. faceoff.
