Waterloo Bucks News Release
Dawnoven Smith (2-4, R, 2 RBI, SB, SF) had arguably the two biggest plate appearances of the ball game for the Waterloo Bucks (19-50, 9-25) in their 5-4 walk-off win over the Duluth Huskies (45-24, 22-12) on Thursday night.
Smith tied the game with a sac fly in the eighth, then grounded a single through the right side with Luke Bowerbank (0-1, BB, R) on first in the 10th. The ball then shot under the glove of the Huskies' rightfielder, allowing Bowerbank to score the winning run.
Parker Murdie (3-4, R, SB) had a three-hit day for the Bucks, and Myles Emmerson (2-4, BB) chipped in with a multi-hit outing.
The Bucks and the Huskies wrap up their series on Friday night at 6:35 p.m.
