
Davis to DL, Moran Joins Pensacola

PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Cincinnati Reds have announced the following roster change for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos prior to tonight's game against the Chattanooga Lookouts.
- Rookie Davis, RHP, placed on DL
- Jimmy Moran, RHP, transferred from Billings
Davis, 23, is 4-1 this season with a 1.59 ERA in six starts. In 34.0 innings of work, he has walked seven while striking out 16. Wednesday night he got the win as he went 5.0 innings with three hits, three runs, two walks and one strikeout against Chattanooga. According to MLB Pipeline, he is the Reds No. 12 prospect.
Moran, 25, has not pitched in 2016. Last season he played for High-A Daytona, Pensacola and Triple-A Louisville. He went 3-2 with a 3.93 ERA between the three teams.
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos have 25 active players on the roster.
