
Davidson Placed on DL, Fish Joins Bees

SALT LAKE CITY (August 25, 2009) - The Salt Lake Bees announced today that the club has placed left-handed pitcher Daniel Davidson on the Disabled List with a left intercostal strain. To replace Davidson on the Salt Lake roster, the Bees recalled left-handed pitcher Robert Fish from Single-A Rancho Cucamonga.
Davidson, 28, has appeared in 42 games of relief for the Bees in 2009, owning a 2-3 record with a 6.89 ERA with 41 strikeouts. In four games with the Angels this season, he registered a 5.40 ERA in 1.2 innings of relief. The Panama City, Fla. native was originally selected by the Angels in the 13th round of the 2003 draft.
Fish, 21, has appeared in 13 games for Rancho Cucamonga this season, owning a 1-6 record with a 6.65 ERA and 48 strikeouts. His first appearance with the Bees will be his Triple-A debut. The Montclair, Calif. native was originally selected by the Angels in the sixth round of the 2006 draft.
