Beavers Face Tacoma During Event-Filled Homestand

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Beavers play host to a five-game homestand against the Tacoma Rainiers, featuring a special appearance by Rally, the final Miller Lite Thursday of the season and annual Schoolhouse Supplies Drive, presented by Supercuts, starting Wednesday at PGE Park.

The Beavers host College Night on their final Miller Lite Thursday of the season at PGE Park. Fans wearing their favorite school or alma mater's gear can purchase a discounted $5 general admission ticket at the PGE Park box office on Thursday.

Thursday night is also Guys Night Out presented by HairM, featuring special ticket packages starting at $24. HairM Guys Night Out packages include two tickets, two hotdogs, two pretzels, two beverages, a 25 percent off coupon for Beavers merchandise and a $10 off coupon towards HairM services, including haircuts, massages and more. HairM Guys Night Out packages can be purchased through the PGE Park box office, local Ticketmaster outlets or online at www.portlandbeavers.com.

An appearance from Rally, the King of Bling, on Friday opens an exciting weekend at PGE Park. Rally is a one-of-a-kind mascot that that is sure to entertain with his high-energy stunts, skits and hilarious antics.

On Saturday, the first 1,903 kids 12 and under to see the Beavers take on the Rainiers, the Triple-A Affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, receive a Wiffle Ball set.

Partnering with Schoolhouse Supplies, the Beavers are conducting their annual school-supplies drive at PGE Park, presented by Supercuts. On Friday and Saturday, the Beavers will hand out Schoolhouse Supplies Drive grocery bags as part of the month-long drive. Fans who donate a variety of needed school supplies, including pencils, markers, glue sticks and notebooks, at PGE Park through Sunday will save $2 off infield reserved tickets when purchased at the box office. Special Supercuts folders will be distributed to the first 2,000 in attendance on Sunday.

The Beavers host their final Nike summer baseball camp of the season over the weekend at PGE Park. Starting Friday, kids 7-13 have the opportunity to learn the latest techniques in pitching, fielding and hitting from Beavers players. Win-Win Wednesday - Beavers vs. Tacoma - 7:05 p.m.

The Beavers open the final series against their Northwest counterparts on a Win-Win Wednesday at PGE Park. If the Beavers can down Tacoma, each fan in attendance can redeem their ticket from Wednesday's game for entry into one of the final Sunday-Wednesday Beavers home games this season.

Thursday, Aug. 27

Miller Lite Thursday / Guys Night Out - Beavers vs. Tacoma - 7:05 p.m.

On the final Miller Lite Thursday of the season, the Beavers host College Night at PGE Park. Fans wearing their favorite school's colors can purchase a discounted $5 general admission ticket at the PGE Park box office. Thursday is also Guys Night Out, presented by HairM. Ticket packages, starting at $24, include two tickets, food, drinks and coupons towards HairM services and Beavers merchandise.

Friday, Aug. 28

Rally Appearance / Schoolhouse Supply Drive - Beavers vs. Tacoma - 7:05 p.m.

Rally, the King of Bling, makes a stop at PGE Park to entertain fans as the Beavers take on the Rainiers on a Comcast $1 Menu Friday. During the game, a variety of discounted concession items will be available for $1, including Zenner's hot dogs, Sierra Springs water and Nestle ice cream desserts. The Beavers continue their month-long Schoolhouse Supplies Drive, presented by Supercuts, handing out special grocery bags to fans. Fans who donate school supplies can save $2 off infield reserved tickets when purchased at the box office.

Saturday, Aug. 29

Wiffle Ball Set Giveaway / Schoolhouse Supply Drive - Beavers vs. Tacoma - 7:05 p.m.

Portland and Tacoma continue their final series of the season on a Fred Meyer Super Giveaway Saturday. The first 1,903 kids 12 and under receive a free Wiffle Ball set. Partnering with Schoolhouse Supplies, the Beavers are conducting a school-supplies drive at PGE Park, presented by Supercuts, and will distribute special grocery bags to fans on their way into the ballpark. Those who donate items can save $2 off infield reserved tickets when purchased at the PGE Park box office.

Sunday, Aug. 30

Schoolhouse Supply Drive - Beavers vs. Tacoma - 2:05 p.m.

The Beavers close out a five-game homestand and a month-long school-supplies drive on an American Family Insurance Kids Sunday. The Beavers, Schoolhouse Supplies and Supercuts have teamed up once again for a back-to-school supplies drive. Fans who donate items at PGE Park will save $2 off infield reserved tickets when purchasing at the box office. A special Supercuts folder will be given to the first 2,000 fans. Prior to the first pitch, kids 12 and under can take advantage of the team's new Kids-Eat-Free plan, play catch on the field and get player autographs. After the game, kids are invited to run the bases at PGE Park, presented by Family Fun Center and Bullwinkle's Restaurant.
